Alan Booth, DeloitteAlan Booth, Associate Partner, Deloitte

Alan Booth has a diverse HR background spanning more than 25 years in the banking and professional services industries. He has a BA in English from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University. His career has included leadership positions in the employee and labour relations, learning and development, recruiting, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate HR disciplines. He has been an Associate Partner, Talent in Deloitte since 2006, with responsibility for various Talent for the Canadian Member Firm. He is currently the Lead for non-technical learning for Canada and Learning Initiative Leader for the Americas Region.

Marcie Chisholm, EPCORMarcie Chisholm, Director of Human Resources & Talent Management, EPCOR Utilities Inc.

As Director of Human Resources & Talent Management, Marcie is accountable for ensuring the development of the engaged workforce and talent pipelines required for EPCOR to execute on its business objectives. With a strong focus on business partnership, Marcie leads the HR consulting, labour relations, recruitment, leadership and professional development, strategic workforce planning, HR metrics, engagement, and succession management efforts supporting 2,400 employees and managers in Western Canada.

Marcie is passionate about integrated talent management strategies that suit the unique culture of an organization.

She has been with EPCOR since 2006, previously holding HR positions with Boardwalk Rental Communities and The Home Depot Canada.

John Stockwell, Morneau ShepellJohn Stockwell, Director - Talent Management, Morneau Shepell Limited

As Director of Talent Management for Morneau Shepell, a leading Canadian HR Consulting and Services firm John is responsible for enterprise wide Learning and Training, Leadership Development, Executive Succession Planning, Performance Management, Recruitment and Employee Engagement. In years since joining Morneau Shepell, John has led the development and implementation of a corporate university for all learning and development programs (The Morneau Shepell Learning Academy), launched executive talent reviews and succession planning, implemented a new recruitment management system, led the hiring of over 2500 new employees and co-led the launch of the new Morneau Shepell brand.

Prior to joining Morneau Shepell John globally led Recruitment and Workforce Planning for Vale Inco, the world's second largest mining company. With operations in Canada, Brazil, China, Australia, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom at over 15 sites, John co-led the development and implementation of a global automated workforce planning tool, led a Recruitment Process Outsourcing project worth over $1 million CAD and rebranded all recruitment collateral and launched a new recruitment management tool.

Jocelyn BerardJocelyn Bérard M.Ps. MBA Vice-President Leadership and Business Solutions - International, Global Knowledge Canada

Jocelyn Bérard is an experienced executive with extensive Canadian and international experience in the areas of Human Resources and Business management. He has worked in Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia. Jocelyn's clients are from industries as diverse as telecommunications, auto manufacturing, health care, retail, aerospace and banking. He has worked with organizations such as Purdue Pharma, Nissan, The Ottawa Hospital, Canada Post, eHealth, Peugeot, Sobeys, GM, Hydro One, MPAC and Pratt & Whitney.

His focus is Talent Management, especially related to Leadership Development, Succession Management and Selection best practices. Jocelyn has two undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Human Resources, a Master Degree in Industrial /Organizational Psychology and an Executive MBA. He is fully bilingual in French and English.

Jocelyn has performed numerous speaking engagements at important events such as the HRPA, SHRM Global Forum, CSTD, and ORHRI Annual Conference and corporate events. He is known as a very dynamic, engaging and knowledgeable presenter and practitioner. Jocelyn has also contributed to numerous articles published by Global Knowledge and in newspaper and magazines such as The Globe and Mail, HR Professional, the Canadian Business Magazine, the CA Magazine and La Presse.
