Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis
The program of study offered by Global Knowledge and leading to an Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis is designed for individuals new to business analysis, professionals who work with business analysts and anyone involved in solution development.
To earn an Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis , you must fulfill
the following requirements:
- Complete four courses within two years
- Pass the final test at the end of each course with a minimum grade of 70%
- Attend at least 90% of class time and participate in class exercises and section-knowledge checks
The following courses help you prepare for this certification.
Start by taking the following two mandatory courses:
Business Analysis Essentials (BA10)
Requirements Development, Documentation, and Management (BA20)
Then take one of the following courses:
Project Management Overview (PM100)
Project Management Fundamentals (PM01)
Take the final course from the following list:
Effective Facilitation for Business Analysts (BA85)
Business Process Analysis (BA45)
Requirements Validation and Testing (BA60)
Upon successful completion of the program, you will earn an Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis awarded by the McMaster University Centre for Continuing Education.
Transfer of Credits between Project Management/IT Project Management and Business Analysis Certificates:
Students wishing to complete an Associate's Certificate in Project Management/IT Project Management AND an Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis may apply one course from the first certificate to the second certificate.
