In this one-hour webinar, Global Knowledge instructor Tracy Wallace will introduce you to Language Integrated Query (LINQ), added to the .NET 3.5 framework in late 2007, and he'll cover a few key techniques required to use it.
Backed by years of Microsoft development experience, Tracy will help you exploit LINQ's powerful approach to programming by helping you master the basics of some of the challenging new concepts it presents. Starting with content not usually covered in LINQ documentation, Tracy will cover LINQ from the beginning, allowing you to gain a firm understanding of the .Net language features on which LINQ relies.
You will learn about anonymous methods, which are key to understanding Lambda expressions. Then, you will learn about Lambda expressions, the foundation of LINQ.
To help you get a firm grip on the concepts, Tracy will tie them together with some examples of LINQ in action.
